The Fabrics

Only fabrics that can be machine or hand-washed are selected by Brenda who scours the globe for fabrics that offer the best mix of character, quality and ease of care. Furthermore, each fabric is assessed to determine the best care instructions. In line with her commitment to comfort, 90% of the fabrics Brenda uses have “stretch ability”.
The Fit
Already famous for her fit-right and ultra comfortable pants, Brenda is introducing a new era of pant comfort and style with a unique stretch waist feature that discreetly expands up to 2 inches. No compromise in styling here – only the woman who wears it can tell the difference.

As a designer, I love making someone feel a little more beautiful than before they put on my clothes. It starts with a piece of fabric and imagining something in it, then having it made up and coming out better than I imagined it.
That’s the ultimate rush.
Brenda Beddome
Trained in fashion design at Ryerson University, BRENDA BEDDOME has been involved for more than 20 years in womens fashions as a retailer, designer, and wholesaler. She has made her mark with women who know that she creates clothing for everyday living – from the fabric, the fit, the comfort to the quality and price point.
Her line is currently sold in boutiques across Canada from her studio in downtown Toronto.

Founded in 1991 to assist homeless and emergency shelters to meet their clients’ needs for new clothing, Windfall Clothing Service is an award-winning, registered charity that receives donations of new clothing and distributes them to 90 partner social service agencies in Toronto.
